Gold was awarded for an integrated materials pack for Rangemaster, universal to 5 different range style cookers that created annual cost savings in excess of £100,000.
The pack consists of an EPS top, base, front buffer and side panels, edge-guard and corrugated top cap and base tray that is shrink-wrapped for despatch. Cleverly designed cavities within the expanded polystyrene top moulding eliminate the requirement for individual packaging components for accessories.
The generic structure of this integrated materials pack is easily adapted to accommodate any new Range cooker introduction, creating further future savings. |
