SCA Foam Products and JSP are working in partnership using JSP's Expanded Polypropylene material ARPRO® to improve the styling, comfort and most importantly the safety of light-built automotive seating.
A phenomenon in which, during frontal crash the lap belt slips above the Anterior Superior Iliac Spline (A.S.I.S) and the pelvis rotates. The lap belt compresses the
abdomen and induces internal organ injuries and even spine injuries.
This phenomenon can be reduced if not eliminated by using EPP along side a PU cushion.
